adFunture UK and mainstay artists Hicalorie and Sichi bring you Shelf Life.
The exhibition is a collection of new works by each artist. Hicalorie are the brains behind Lefty and Sichi created BUKA. The exhibition is housed in the Bodhi gallery - upstairs from the location of the adFunture Guerilla Store. November 15th 2007 is the date for your diaries.
November 15th is also the release date of Lefty, to coincide with a Lefty custom exhibition (more on that soon).

BUKA got its worldwide release at this year's Taipei Toy Festival. BUKA has since set the rumour mill into overgrind with questions of when the artist series is being released and who will feature in BEWARE OF FAKE BUKA Season One. BUKA has appeared around the online press and featured in Clutter Magazine and Computer Arts Projects. The stamp of approval was added with a Nike special edition, for use by Nike Hong Kong for internal use (company internal corporate stuff... not consumption or insertion into the human body) - making it the rarest of all BUKA to date.
After much deliberation and additional artists being invited to take part in the series, it's time to reveal the final line-up of artists who have applied their skills to the BUKA platform.
Frank Kozik (Anarchy)

and BUKA creator and series curator Sichi, whose signature edition (shown above) makes up the collection.
There are of course the additional 2 secret mystery versions which we will only reveal to you once they have been discovered by the buying masses. Packaged in good old blind-boxed assortment. BEWARE OF FAKE BUKA Season One will be released on 11th November 2007 at the adFunture GS. Sichi will be hanging around on the 15th Nov at the 'Shelf Life' exhibition to sign your BUKA.
Season One... suggests there may well be a Season Two in the works, plus a few special editions you need to watch out for.

Hot from the underwater toy press, this november we will be releasing Hicalorie's Lefty! These 6" Glow in the Dark octopi are assembling for release at adFunture London. Some of you may remember back to the darker times when lefty's story told of a drugged-out plush octopus that gave birth to a litter of 100 baby octopi keychains, a year has passed now since the shabby bitesize 'Leftettes' were all given loving homes in exchange for charitable donations and now Lefty is back and out on the streets again. Today the irresponsible saltwater tentacle-junkie has left old habits behind, cleaning up its act, and looks, to make another appearance as a shiny new vinyl toy.
Release date: Nov.11th 2007 @ adFunture GSUK
Artist Signing: Nov 15th 2007 @ Shelf Life Exhibition (upstairs of GSUK)

On the 11th November, at 11:11AM, adFunture's latest retail guerilla store opens its doors. It will be in the brand new B2 retail store - part of the Bodhi gallery at 214 Brick Lane, London E1 6SA, UK.
On the 15th November, adFunture artists Sichi and Alex (Hicalorie) take over the Bodhi gallery with their duo show "Shelf Life".
