WZL, the Beijing-based designer, is known for his multi-layer vector designs. The charcter I, WZL came from his own iconic that he designed back in 2003, back then, there was only the head, no body. In late 2005, Eddi worked with WZL to develop the whole character, and officially named it "I". Stage 1 of this collaboration was to turn the character into a designer vinyl and then the rest will follow.
I, WZL was the first designer vinyl that was designed and produced in Mainland China. Released in March of 2006, a "platform toy" exhibition was then held in June of 2006, which involved 102 Mainland designers using "I" as the common platform.

Back in 2004, adFunture started its first graffiti-related project with LA artist Dave Kinsey. Known for his street arts, he designed 3 classic "Kinsey-styled" characters for adFunture to turn into 3D. Each figure is 9cm tall, 3 figures as a set, we called it The Kinsey Series.
This eventually paved the way for adFunture to continue on working with many other great street art and graffiti artists.

The Argentina-based design crew is best known for their visual designs and installation arts. The Astronaut Jesus character was concieved back in 2004, and brought to adFunture for project production in Feb of 2005. Visually striking, the 24cm tall character quickly gained attention and support. This is not about religon but visual design itself.

Munich-based graffiti artist, Flying Fortress, uses his Teddy Troops to take over wall space all over Europe. With the Teddy Troop figures, the army started taking charge outside just wall-space as well.
Each figure stands 9cm tall, the Series 1 consisted of 3 classic Teddy Troop designs by the artists; Basic, Shark and Shaved. These 3 troopers are only the first wave of troops, there are more on the way.
Look out! Teddy Troops will have you surrounded!

London-based illustrator added humor to the over-used Ape themed characters. "Enough Apes Already" he said. This vinyl figure stands only 23cm tall, but caused discussions much taller when it debuted in Colette back in 2004.
This project was also used to collaborate with Paris select shop Colette and its Tokyo project ColetteMeetsCommeDesGarcons.

Singapore-based sneaker customizer SBTG cooked up 24 pairs of Nike Dunk Hi with both the SBTG and adFunture flavors and came up with The Boulevard. Each pair comes with a see-through shoe-box made by adFunture. Sold exclusively on FreshnessMagazine.Com in July of 2004.
