After months and months of waiting, The Lad & Dog vinyl figures set designed by The London Police is finally ready for shipping. This has been one of the "most delayed" project ever for us. Of course, also one of the most looked forward to ever as well.
I know Steve and Vincent can't wait to get these, so we'll send them off as quickly as we can. Hang in there, buds.
More on this later.

Had our X'mas Eve dinner at Red Dot tonight. Invited a few friends over, good times. This holiday was the first one handled by Walker, Monica and Cecila. Very nicely done. And of course, Edward the chef was amazing as always as well. Thank you very much guys.
It's really a relief to see the new team doing well. Takes alot of pressure off our backs, and leaves more time to us to do everything else. haha
Have a Merry Christmas everybody!

Did the interview for our DA>TALK feature in YOHO Magazine this time in Beijing. Our guest was one of China's premier hip-hop crew's leader Chin-Flow. The crew is named "Kung Fu".
Met Chin-flow a couple of times before, but to really dig this deep in a conversation, this was the first time really. I took 70mins out of his busy schedule to chat about anything and everything from street culture to music, knockoffs to sneakers. That was alot of content for the editor to record. Well, have fun.
Thanks to CF for his time. Mad cool.

While I was in Beijing, I happened to catch the Adidas Party there, celebrating the opening of their first direct-managed store in China. Don't understand? Anyways.
The venue was quite cool. Invited a few guests to perform that night including Edison.
All and all a nice night out. Thanks for the invite, W.

Really digging this pair of goodness. Looked for this pair of FW360 for quite some time now, and when I saw it, I knew it was it, is mine!
Gotta stop buying kickz for a while. Need to put the dough elsewhere....

Saw this piece in Beijing's 798 Art District. Can't recall the name of the gallery, sorry. But I really dig this piece. Inspiring...
... hmm.. What can I do with this? :-)

Wow, I've been off this blog for 15 days, I didn't even feel it was that long..
We have been working hard quite a bit. 2 new product releases over the next week or so, so it was all work, folks. Fafinettes and The London Police are finally ready. Thank god.
I just came back from Beijing tonight, it was another one of those brief trips. Don't let the photo up there fool you, Beijing is not an old city anymore. I took this shot because it felt soooo out of reach for us nowadays. Yet, Beijing is able to keep these old streets around.
I have a few stories to tell, but let's leave them for another day.
For now, I'll upload some shots from the past few weeks.

Futura was in town for a quick bit 2 weeks back. Due to the Gibson Exhibition, I didn't go over to their event during the day, so I only ran into the legend at the club that night. The man is always in and out of different countries, so the chat was always brief. The project is moving along though, Fu, don't worry about that. I'll see you in 2 weeks.
For now, have fun with your exhibition this weekend in Hong Kong. I wish I can be there to check out the Retro Exhibition, but I can't leave Shanghai for quite a while. Too bad for me.

So I was saying that the seafood stuff was great in GuangZhou, and then AFar said we can find that in Shanghai as well. Well, ok, so I didn't know this for the longest time that I've been living here... Nice.
Thanks to AFar for the directions.

The night officially begun at 7pm. Mostly press at that point, the party animals weren't there yet. Thanks for all the support. Didn't really know what to say when I was on that stage, but hey, that's me.
always glad to see my folks at our openings. I don't care if people says that's cool or not, I truly believe that parents need to know what their "childrens" are doing out there, and what their "kids" are trying to do. Yes, to parents, no matter how old we are we are still "children/kids" of theirs. And that has nothing to do with being cool or not. Thanks for showing up, Mr and Mrs. Yip. Hope you were happy to see what I did. (hope you didn't see me smoking earlier.. )
Once they walked out, all hell broke lose. Eddi is back.

Participating artists Beibang, RubberPixy, Suzzy, Lion and Kai were hangin' around before the official press conference. We did what we do most of the time... standing around smoking til work starts.. Not a good impression for most press. O well.

We got to the venue at 8pm, thinking we should be getting outta there by midnight. I was thinking Party Friday.... well...
We got out at 7:30am Saturday morning...
Kai playing with my guitar. "Eazy there, brother... don't scratch it..." haha
thanks to Kai, Suzzy and Lion for the hard work. another exhibition setup, another all nighter.

This one was mine. Simple tricks, sprayed splatters, with stencil works of "me". haha. I'm not much of an artist, you know that, but I do like how this came out. It matched the style.
It doesn't get more "Jukai" than this piece; G-Robots Represent! Very cool, thanks Kai.

Got back to Shanghai to kick off this exhibition between adFunture and Gibson Guitars. A guitar art exhibit curated by yours truly. 8 artists in total, including Beibang, Jukai, Sammy Jacobs, RubberPixy, Lion and Suzzy. I did a guitar as well. Thanks to Nate and Gibson for hooking up with us.
