04/13/2008: "Molly / Anthony / Russell Peters"

Who's this kid on Yoyo's shoulder? Say hi to Molly everyone. She's my god-daugther and the new birth of Jukai and Eden. Born in Taiwan, Molly is now in Shanghai to see all her daddy's friends. We had a big group dinner to welcome Molly. It was great. I'm not much of a kid-person, but hey, this is Jukai's kid, what can I say?!


Long time friend, Anthony Yik, came by Shanghai over the weekend. Sat down for a few drinks and cracked up on some funny movie bits during dinner.

Anthony brought up the topic of Canadian comedian Russell Peters. An interesting fellow that did a lot of his acts based on the topics of race and cultural differences between different races. Peters, being Indian himself, was no shame in talking trash about the Indian race, and in doing so, he was able to talk more openly about others as well. He did some seriously funny bits on the Chinese. Anthony and I stopped and looked at each other, and went "...but is quite true though...." Damn...
