04/06/2008: "Remix & VOX / Invincible & Revelator"

Paying attention to some Taiwanese street brands lately, and the recent visit to Taipei helped alot.

When you talk about Taiwanese street brands, you cannot not mention REMIX TAIPEI. REMIX TAIPEI is definitely one of the hottest street labels in Taiwan, if not the hottest, period. American skate label VOX made a smart move by working with Remix recently, a little collabo goes a long way. These Remix Taipei x Vox,... SOLD OUT. Good luck trying to cop one of these on the auction sites. I saw alot of guys wearing this on the streets of Taipei, it was definitely a good sign. That's right, WEAR THEM, keep them out of them boxes, kids.

For foreign labeled goods shopping, you might want to head over to Jimmy's INVINCIBLE SHOP. A nice shop right beside the old BAPE location, it is the official Taiwan door for brands like Undefeated, Stussy, Revelator and Resonate Goodenough. Kaws' Original Fake has been recently added to Invincible's offering as well. The day we visited, I didn't see any Revelator goods on the racks; they were sold out already. Business is good I guess, Wade.
