10/14/2007: "Nike SB Film: Nothing but the Truth"

Is like Nike-week for me this past few days, and there're a few more days left in the week. We started off with a Nike SB event in Shanghai where we are treated to official screening of the first ever Nike SB Film "Nothing but the Truth". A fun film for skaters or non-skaters alike.

Stars from the Nike SB Team also made their visits to Shanghai as well, and showed up to greet some of their fans. A lot of Shanghai skaters showed up at the event, it was definitely a Nike event that was different from the rest we had all year.


Another star in the event, What the Dunk was sitting at the entrance to the venue. Very nice. I myself like the meaning itself over the actual appearance of the shoes. 50 pairs will be available for sale in Shanghai. I can just imagine the lineup in of the store... it will be crazy.

Mad respect to all the skaters in the film, they played hard, and put on a great show. I don't skate, and after watching that film, I have no motivation to neither, because it's gonna hurt soooo bad.

这个星期对自己来说是"Nike Week"。Studio正忙着Nike的案子，再加上这星期也有了个活动，2个在沪，1个在北京。真的7天都给了Nike。

活动第一炮；Nike SB的"Nothing but the truth"电影国内首映。好几位Nike SB Team的队员都有来沪出席。P.Pod当然少不了。场面十分热闹的样子。其实这次活动还有一个主角等你去发现。它就是最新的Dunk SB限量版What the Dunk。这双WTD用上了多款经典SB别注来拼成一双。在WTD上可以找到Jeff Staple的鸽子图，喜力的红星，Harris Tweed布样，Supreme的金星等等。每一部位都有一个故事。十分有意思。但当然，拼成这样，意义已大过美感了。

Anyways，说回到这部NBTT电影，看完真得很敬佩这班hardcore板友。自己也有踏一下滑板，但真的只会直线行驶。要作出他们这些漂亮的动作，算了，白问没有这个胆色。断手断脚断腰，这些故事听得多了。前阵子我们英国分社的Alex也是因为踏板出事，腿断了两个多月。看见片中SB Team成员的出色表演，真的不能不说句佩服佩服。
