08/26/2006: "Teddy Troops Series"

As we are set to ship off the Teddy Troops Series 2, a rather short series, we are already working on the next. Samples have been done and all. But before S2 leave our warehouse, there's really no point showing off the S3 yet.

Antoher issue that we are considering is the quantity of variants to be included in S3. We have said before that we actually have more than 15 designs in the process, which is true. But the change from blind-box to window-box changed our insertion plane entirely. Don't know the effect we'll see on S2, but that will ultimately prompt us which direction to go for S3.

Make people "chase" or let them "choose"? That's the question.

Is Teddy Troop a collectible item or an item that should serve a wider audience?

So here I was browsing the KR message boards, which I regularly do, I noticed what Frank Kozik said about our gendre:

"I know that 'exclusion/our scene is 'cool' but I find it thrilling when a person who has never seen these objects is exposed for the first time they are so blown away by them its amazing.

A very wide range of people come through my studio nad they are always just floored by the collection and immediately want to know where it comes from what is it wow thats so insane etc.

so,like it or not, these items appeal to a wide range of people, not just the ones you think deserve to have them

"Inclusion". Agreed.

Kozik is one of the few artists on the scene right now who dares to speak his mind on various venues. We appraud Mr. Kozik for his opinions and attitute.
